About Me
I first qualified as a Hypnotherapist in 2013 while living in Portsmouth, training with the Hampshire School of Hypnotherapy. After qualifying, I began practising at the Redress Clinic in Portsmouth and also volunteered my services with Harbour Cancer in Gosport, offering support to individuals and families affected by cancer. I later returned home to the Isle of Wight, bringing my experience and passion for helping others with me.
I currently volunteer at the Wessex Cancer Support Centre in Newport, Isle of Wight, where I provide hypnotherapy support to clients every Wednesday. My time at Wessex Cancer is deeply meaningful; it allows me to offer immediate, compassionate help to individuals facing a wide range of challenges and emotional needs. Supporting people in this setting is both humbling and fulfilling, and it reinforces my commitment to being present for those who need care right now.
Cancer is a long, demanding, and often overwhelming journey. It affects mental health, emotional resilience, and the ability to find moments of peace. We all need space—gentle, restorative space—to breathe, to process, and to reconnect with ourselves. Hypnotherapy can provide that space. It can offer comfort, calm, and emotional relief to those living with cancer, and much‑needed respite to the people who support them.
At Seabreeze Hypnotherapy, my purpose is simple:
To help others facing what my father faced, and what I now face myself.
To offer understanding, compassion, and a safe place to rest the mind.
To walk alongside you—whether you are the one with cancer or the one caring for someone you love.
You do not have to navigate this journey alone.

My connection to cancer is deeply personal. I supported my father through his diagnosis, witnessing first-hand the emotional and physical toll the illness takes—not only on the person living with cancer, but also on the carers, loved ones, and wider family. That experience shaped my understanding of the profound strain, fear, exhaustion, and emotional upheaval that accompany such a journey.
Years later, receiving the same diagnosis myself brought an entirely new perspective. I now understand the inner landscape of cancer from both sides: as a carer and as someone living with the illness. This dual insight allows me to offer truly empathetic, grounded, and meaningful support to others navigating similar paths.
